There is a lot to talk about
I have been slacking in the realm of updating but there have been plenty of updates. How ironic. The website is currently in the middle of a complete overhaul. What we have for the time being is a very nice “under construction” page: www.octocorp.com to check it out.
While that’s being worked on, there are several things that are beginning to take shape:
1. Urban Ninja
2. BushinDojo Online
3. Octovision
4. Tucson Dodgeball (Octocorp’s illegitimate father)
1. Urban Ninja. This has been quite an adventure. In the midst of shooting various promos for the movie which have a dual purpose of generating interest and more importantly providing practice for the camera man, the actors and the editing we’ve come across resources that were not available to us back then. Things continue to change and this is becoming more and more of a mature project than what we originally set out. Progress on this will (ideally) appear more on here.
2. Bushindojo Online has taken flight and so far has maintained a steady course. It’s logging more hours than anticipated. This will be one of Octocorp’s first encounters with the outside world and a great way to implement our philosophy on certain things.
3. Octovision. “Our vision. Octovision.” We basically gave a name to anything we produce with film. More of this later.
4. Tucson Dodgeball has finally manifested itself into becoming a functioning Dodgeball organization capable of hosting tournaments, leagues and successful open Dodgeball.
If 07 was a staging ground, than 08 is definitely Octocorp’s opening act. How delightfully suiting.
